There are few more uncomfortable feelings than the symptoms of heartburn acid reflux disease and most who suffer from it will take many steps to eliminate the feeling. The first and most obvious is a burning sensation near the top of the stomach. As stomach acid refluxes into the esophagus it is literally burning it lining and letting the body know that something is not right.
